Insanity Q?

Has anyone done Insanity? DId it work well? Did you get results? Could you do it?

  • I am currently doing it...and I love it!  I am only two weeks in, but I am getting better at it.  It is a butt kicking workout and insane sometimes, but my fiancee and I are doing it together and it gives us a chance to forget about the craziness of life at the moment and sweat together!
  • I am on my last week of Insanity.  I love it too!  The last month is very hard to keep motiviated (as the workouts go to 60 mins).  I do it with my FI  and  we love discussing it - and we keep each other motivated.  I definitely see results  but not pounds lost.   FI and I both have better muscle definition.   It's hard but  do what you can - that's the beauty of it.  I actually like it when the people on the video have to take breaks too - it makes me feel better.     Good luck and try it out.  I highly suggest someone else doing it at the same time as you (or join a buddy system on sparkspeople) 
  • My fiance and I have been at it for a little over 2 weeks, its hard but we have alreay been improving and feel like we have more energy.  Good luck!

  • Yes I dropped one size  and I do feel thinner.  My FI says my legs look great (and my legs are hard to tone).   I can also tell in my core area.   

  • I just finished week one. Before Insanity, I ran a lot. I definitely feel much more of a total body workout now with insanity. I am doing the nutrition plan as well which seems to help. The first week, I didn't lose anything, but I can tell an improvement in my fitness and I do feel a little bit tighter and not as loose and flabby. I think it's a great program for getting rid of flab in difficult areas. It works the legs and core a lot. I really want to focus on arms and back, and it seems to work those areas a lot too. So far, it seems like a good program and I like it.
