Getting in Shape

Hello!

Hello ladies!

I post a lot on the other boards, but never have on this one, so I thought I'd introduce myself. :) I'm Dina, and I'm getting married on August 20. I was lurking around on this board, and you ladies are so inspiring, encouraging, and kind, I thought I'd post here to hold myself accountable for my fitness goals.

I probably need to lose about 5 lbs, but honestly, my weight is not my major concern. My health is. I am in good health, but I just moved in with my FI in mid-January and have since stopped my exercise routine. I used to lift weights 5 or 6 times a week, and then I dropped it because it became too time-consuming with my PhD work. Not a good excuse, I know... that's why I plan to post more on these boards. No hiding from the truth! :)

My new goal as of tomorrow is to run 5 times a week for 30 minutes after my 8am class in the mornings to tone up. I truly think that once I become regularly active again, I will become way more conscious of what I'm putting into my body.
