  • Also, meant to add that I weighed in today at 139 which is the top of the 135-140 range I am trying to stick to.  I have been eating well, working out, and feeling great so I think I might start doing measurements because some of that weight may be muscle.  Also, I think a couple other things might be affecting that number -- I didn't drink nearly enough water yesterday and did weights last night so I am probably retaining water, and also, TTOTM is next week so I always bloat up a bit before that.  Nonetheless, I was pretty annoyed to see that number so I'm on a strict 20 points/day until I can get back to 135.

  • Good work cara!  Jholbel-I think it's awesome that you're maintaining so well!  keep it up!  I, on the other hand, decided ice cream was a good idea last night.  Neither the scale nor my stomach agree this morning.  Ugh... where did my self control go?  Oh that's right, on a cruise in the Mediterranean-apparently I left it there.

    B: smoothie (5)
    L: leftover quiche (5)
    S: nectarine and strawberries (1.5)
D: out with DH and friends-there's a black bean burger with avocado and chipotle spices  that looks delicious (10?) sangria (4?)

    Total: 23.5
    Target: 21

E: Does going to the DMV and Social Security office this morning count?  I stood in line a lot...  Back on the horse next week!

  • Its delicious (especially with honey or fruit), and its packed with protein.  A small 0% container is 2 points on its own.

  • Jholbel-seriously right?  and now my body is used to eating a zillion calories every 2 hours and my brain is not helping-ice cream? peanut butter?  you bet!  Ugh.  I need to find my self control before I find more treats.

  • Yeah, you pretty much need to be prepared to gain at least 5 pounds on a cruise.  It sucks when you get home, but its so worth it at the time!!

  • I love cruises and all the food!!  Its so hard when there is temptation 24/7.

  • About the cruise and gaining 5lbs... thats what I was preparing for... instead, I got home and had lost 2lbs! I have NO clue how it happened. I guess just making sure I never took the elevator (even if I did go to the 15th floor from the bottom) really paid off. As well as all the walking around when we were docked! I ate whatever I wanted and drank a ton of mudslides... so like I said, I still am at a loss for how I lost 2lbs! hmmmm....
