Hi everyone! A couple of weeks ago I wrote about how I found out I have a few herniated discs in my neck/upper back. The original physician assistant I saw said no exercise for 6 weeks, which sucked because I like to work out for both my physical and mental health. Since then I went to a specialist and started physical therapy and I was told that I could go back to the gym when I was feeling better just no running, upper body weights, anything high intensity. On Tuesday I tried half an hour on the eliptical and was in so much pain after. Can anyone suggest some kind of other cardio that wont be as taxing on my neck. The gym I belong to does not have a pool.
Its just getting depressing because its almost 3 weeks of no exercise and I usually work out 4 days a week. Not to mention my wedding is in less than 4 months and I would like to lose 10 lbs and tone up. Sorry this is turning more into a vent then anything else. Thanks for listening!
