Snow!

Isn't it just gorgeous?  I can't remember the last time the Dallas area had so much snow in one winter.  This has been an amazing winter :)  (I love the cold..I'm probably in the minority on that)

    The snow is beautiful!

What's not beautiful is the person who was too lazy to take their dog out into the snow to poop and instead let the dog poop in the walkway from our apartment to the parking lot and left it there.  I'm seriously thinking about leaving a passive aggressive note...

I know... It is soo beautiful! I walked out of my apt. (the 1st thing I see is the gazebo) & was like "omg!" lol.

Mariah, you are not alone. I love the snow! I used to live in Kansas where we got multiple feet of snow every winter. I really miss that.

I'll share a couple of snowy pictures from Mesquite :-)

We got a couple of inches at the house...and it was still coming down pretty heavy when we left about an hour ago.

It is beautiful, but I need it out of here by tomorrow evening! I don't want snow/ice to keep guests from coming to my wedding! ;)

It's beautiful!!  I had heard it wasn't supposed to really start up until this afternoon so I was shocked this morning when I looked out the window!!

I'm at DFW and we have probably 2" or more and it is coming down so hard outside my window right now I can barely see the building across the street.

    Love it!!

I didn't think it was coming till later so it was a minor shock when I took the dog out this morning.  I made it to work, and about an hour into my day my boss told me to go home before it got worse and just work the rest of the day from home.  I'm probably going to take Gypsy out in a second for a picture (it was too dark at 5:30 am).

I wasn't expecting it to do anything this early as well.  When I woke up I thought it looked extra "bright" outside and sure enough it was because everything was covered in snow.  So I'm working from home today, and possibly tomorrow depending on how the roads are in the morning.

Snow is not my friend and I think this stems from when I went to college in Lubbock and we still had to go to class. And if there were a little snow then I could understand but there were days where it was worse than this and we still had to go.

But other than that, I think it looks pretty lol

I love the cold too.  It was pretty slow going on I35-E southbound but I still made it on time.  I just hope we get a late start tomorrow.  Bill and I are staying at a hotel close to where we both work so that we can make it in tomorrow just in case....

It is very beautiful here in Grapevine.  All the trees covered in snow....and nutty kids who are acting unusually bad.

I want to go home and drink hot chocolate and bake cookies while watching the snow through the window

From the pictures and the way everyone is talking on Facebook, it sounds like the big snowstorm we had in Denton in March 2008, which was crazy! But I also know people who live in D.C. and Chicago, and from what I've heard from them, I'm just glad that Dallas is a place where snow is measured in inches, not feet.

    Be safe everyone!

The snow is beautiful today and I'm extra grateful that the roads are perfectly fine. Maybe not so much tomorrow morning, but I've been about all day with nothing to worry about.

I don't think I have ever seen this much snow at once in Dallas, Kansas, definitley.

And I'm supposed to fly out in the morning, which probably won't happen, so we're trying to change our flight to this afternoon. Fingers crossed!

It is so beautiful!  They allowed our students to leave early in GP so now we are just waiting for them to announce that the teachers can leave too!  I want to go home and make a snowman with my fiance!
