Hi ladies!
I live in DC but am strongly leaning towards getting married in Dallas. I went to undergrad at UTD so I'm familiar with the area somewhat, and 2 of my bridesmaids still live in Dallas, but I am still very nervous about planning from a distance. My FI and I both work very demanding jobs, so while we'll be able to make some short trips to Dallas, we won't have a ton of time to devote to coordinating of vendors, etc.
I want to have a reception that's a little off the beaten path and am looking for the BEST wedding planner or event production company in DFW - people who have tons of experience with upscale events (I'm talking lighting design, etc) and can take my creative vision and roll with it to make it bigger and better. Maybe these should be two seperate vendors (a coordinator/planner and an events production company)?
