Boudoir Photography

Hey ladies,

I was wondering if any of you have done a boudoir photography session in DFW... I'm thinking of doing this as my wedding gift to FI.  If you have, two questions:
1, Who did you use (and obviously how did you like them) and
2, How much did it cost you?

    Hello! I'm planning to do one with Chelsea McGowan! I believe she normally charges around $300 for a regular session and then you'd have to pay for the venue if you want them taken somewhere other than your house, like a hotel. I would check with her on the price to make sure.
    I am getting mine done during her mini-session marathon she's set up, then it's only 175/person. You only get 45 minutes each, but no venue fee! She'd probably set up another one at another date if she had enough people interested.
    Her before & after touch up pictures are amazing! She also has some boudoir pics up on her blog.

    I'm also planning to do a mini-session with Chelsea in October--the pics will be my husband's 1st anniversary gift. 


    Most photographers charge around $300 and up just for the session, not including an album.  Some will do your makeup also for an extra fee.  Now that I'm doing it, I'm realizing how expensive it will be because I will still need my hair and makeup done and I have to buy lingerie.  I'm planning to make my own album.

    She's just starting out so her rates are a lot lower than other photographers.  I did a mini-marathon with 2 other girls (my friends) so we split the cost of the hotel.  I also did my own album from Shutterfly to save money.

    THIS is what motivates me to keep dieting and working out.  I feel like anyone can look good in the right wedding dress at any size, but I want to get in the best shape of my life and document it for my man so that 20 years from now when I'm saggy and wrinkly he can remember why he thought I was hot stuff :)

    Where are you located? My regular hair stylist is going to do mine and her prices are great. Maybe we could carpool that day? I haven't found a mua yet, let me know who you go with.

    Hey Angela!  I live in Garland.  I contacted my wedding MUA but she's on vacation.  If she's not available, I'll let you know.
