My fiance and I are planning an outdoors-type wedding. Our actual wedding is going to be outside, and our reception will be in a hall. Our colors are apricot and Realtree camo (which will be used sparingly as trim and the like).
I see a lot of people posting about how favors aren't necessary, and financially it would be great to exclude them, but I know neither one of our families would be very pleased, as it's always been a tradition at any reception we've ever been to. I realize that it's our day, our money, and our choice, but I really don't think I would feel right eliminating them altogether.
With that said, does anyone have any ideas for favors that would be reasonable in price, but also nice and better yet, useful? And for the record, the camo is not going to be a huge focus because this is not going to be a redneck wedding (no offense to those who have done that), so I don't want favors that will over emphasize the hunting factor. I appreciate everyone's insight -- thanks!

Ha ha! In fact, I don't even know what to call our wedding...it's a hodge podge of fuschia and bright orange!
Anyways, getting to the point.
We are having heart-shaped birdseed feeders as our favours. They are $1 each and are handmade by a seller on Etsy. Because we're ordering so many (200+), she's including free shipping and handling. She's also including personalized tags on each feeder. When they come in the mail (they should be here next week!), I will attach delicate orange and pink bows to them as well.
The name of the shop on Etsy is Nature Favors. You should check it out if you're interested!
I was in the same boat as you. I wanted favours but I wanted something affordable (not much over $1 each) and practical!
Good luck with your search!
