Suggestions for dressing up clear flower vases

My vases for my reception look like this. The ones on the guest tables will have a candle in them and the ones for my buffet tables will hold artificial flowers. I need some ideas on what to do to hide the styrofoam that will hold the flowers.  Any suggestions?

Using glue dots you could wrap ribbon around the cylinder.

To hide the foam, you can wrap the outside of the vase in colored tissue paper and tie it with a ribbon or raffia. Or you can surround the foam inside the vase with dried floral moss. It is fairly cheap and comes in bags, but it's messy. You might want to apply some light adhesive or glue to hold it onto the foam, or it tends to "settle" and some of the foam might peek through. Or, just fill the vases with colored glass stones/marbles, pea gravel, or decorative stones. You might pre-arrange the flowers, and tape the stems together down low, so they don't show above the stones. But with stones, you run the risk of them spilling, or being very heavy to transport. For the ones with candles, a simple ribbon, or stenciled design can dress it up cheap and easy. OR, it will require more work and expense, but you can buy these stick on window designs at Home Depot or Lowe's for about $20-40. They go on like contact paper and have various designs, like stained glass, floral, clouds, bamboo, etc... They could be cut into smaller pieces to apply to the cylinder vases.

Thanks for the ideas ladies Catwoman, thank you for the Lowes idea I will check on that, for my guest tables I was going to do just ribbons in my colors. My main colors are Ivory, brown and gold with autumn colors for accents (flowers) my candles are ivory and I was going to tie brown and gold ribbons around the containers.

MMmm, coffee beans would look and smell great! I found some pics of the "decorative window film", hope they come out: Well, I couldn't get them to post, I'll try a link. Or you can Google "Home Depot decorative window film": http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xr5/Ntk-All/Ntt-decorative%20window%20film%20samples/h_d2/Navigation?Ntx=mode+matchpartialmax&Ns=None&rpp=12&langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053&style=A

You can use wide ribbon around them or scrap booking paper. I have seen it done and looks great. Good luck
