Opinions on my flowers!!!

Hi girls! I just ordered my flowers & I'm wondering if I made the right decision! I am getting married on 2/20/10! My girls are wearing burgundy. I ordered them long stem ivory calla lily bouquets (8 in each). I am wearing a light gold dress. (It looks ivory). My bouquet is black baccara roses. (I've always wanted that) The groomsmen & mothers/grandmothers ect are wearing ivory rose corsages. My fiance is wearing is 2 black baccara roses. Our centerpieces are ivory roses. What do you guys think????

I think it sounds beautiful... One thing you might consider would be adding callalilies into the centerpieces, just to tie them in a little bit... or, have the GM bouts be mini ivory callas. One other consideration - will the Groom's bacarra rose blend into his black tux? You might want something that "pops" a little more. But, don't get me wrong... even as you described, it sounds really nice!

Yea we thought about the black baccara being to dark on his black tux! But we wanted to match! LOL Well see. Thanks for your thoughts!!! I'm not very good at this stuff but I'm picturing everything together & I think it will be different yet beautiful! The centerpieces are included at our hall. It's 6 roses in a vase. Very simple but I can't see spending alot of money on a centerpiece. I know some people will def disagree LOL but it is a great idea to add a few calla lilies in the centerpice! Thanks!

that really sounds beautiful!!! the important thing is that you like it and that these flowers are the ones you really want. combination for black bacarra roses and cream-ivory is really nice. if yous want to use thoses ropse fro the grokom you couls also add a little green for contrasting againds the black or some little cremy white filler flowers. This way it won't look so dark. greenery and fillers add body to any arrangement, a soft touch to make them look bigger and fuller

It sounds really beautiful. If you're worried about the groom's dark rose bout blending into the black tux, you can add a little greenery or maybe some light colored hypericum berries to make it stand out. Maybe a lighter sage green, like eucalyptus, or lemon leaf. Or sometimes you can find an almost ivory colored hypericum berry.

It sounds really pretty. I'm not into white flowers with a white table cloth, I would colored flowers to the centerpieces. That is a personal preference.
