Flowers

What do you think about all white flowers?

So, I have this idea to do all white flowers for my wedding, perhaps with a bit  of greenery thrown in. I want to do white roses tied with dark blue ribbon (matching my shoes) for my bouquet and a single white rosebud with blue ribbon for my groom's boutonnière. Then I want the bridesmaids to carry white carnations (I like the idea of a single stem) with the same ribbon, and the groomsmen wearing bouts made with single white carnations. I would also need bouts and wristlet corsages for the family members (2 moms, 2 dads, 3 sets of grandparents, 3 sets of aunts/uncles... all siblings are in the WP already)
Thoughts, opinions, ideas? My mom and groom like the idea (well, my groom will go with it, he honestly doesn't care about flowers).

I think it sounds lovely and very elegant.  As long as the blue ribbon has the color in your theme elsewhere, it will all come together nicely.  We have lots of color in our venue and decided to leave our cake as completely white so that it stands out more against the colored venue.

I think that would be pretty! My only worry with the single stem carnation for the BM is that the stems on carnations are so flimsy that i would worry about it holding up for the ceremony and pictures. I would consider a single flower with a more sturdy stem- maybe a white calla lilly.

As long as some greenery is mixed in, I think all white flowers would look fabulous!  Go for it!!

I did all white flowers for my wedding.  I wanted a very classic and elegant look.  I used all roses for the WP flowers and a mix of roses, lillies and hydrangea for the centerpieces.  For the BMs, I would choose a single rose over a carnation.  If cost is a factor, baby's breath bouquets are inexpensive and lovely.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I can't do lilies because of allergy issues with my family, but I will definitely consider other options for the BMs.
