What flowers make you think "enchanted forest"?

Hey!
Trying to decide what kind of flowers I want to use for my wedding in August. I'm on a budget too... but mostly trying to root out what kinds of flowers might be nice and cheap in a simple bouquet that say "enchanted forest" -- I'm getting married in a beautiful redwood grove and I want that sort of dreamy enchanted foresty feel.

And colors too -- I'm thinking of some rich deep blue-purples but other than that, I got nothing. I'm thinking of pinks, and maybe some ... greenish blue? like robins'-egg blue?

Are you getting married at night? It would look lovely if you could somehow have small hanging lights. Roses are cheap. You could pair them with some sort of twig/branch arrangement. If you're trying to go cheap, use whatever flower you want, but add a lot of greenery. Usually I don't like greenery, but it would look nice with your forest theme.

no, my wedding will be during the day, it's a Sunday... either late morning/early afternoon, so people can get back home to work. I'm having my wedding in Berkeley, where most of my guests are from southern California... myself included. heh.

I love the idea of fairy lights and I was thinking of incorportating that somehow into my reception. I'm not sure that I could hang lights in the redwood grove, hehe. I love the orchid in the water centerpieces and the hanging candles! too bad they don't let us use candles at the ceremony site, heh... fear of fire.

I don't know about the flowers, but this image jumped into my head for some reason. You know those glittery/sparkly fillers? That would be neat, with some simple flowers. And they have them in different colors.
