Reception Venue Advice - 7 Senses

Hello all!  We are new to the board, but have read alot of your informative posts.  They are awesome!

So I figured we would ask for some advice.  We have settled on 7 Senses for our reception - It's amazing!  However we know that eating there will be different, and wonder if anyone has had their reception there or has been to one there, and if you can recommend or help us rule out any catering companies for the place?

Also, being such a unique venue, is there anything you think we need to make sure we do with it, or anything you would do differently if you did it again there?

Hopefully this makes sense, we are just trying to learn from other Knotties who have been there before us!

    I will be sure to stalk your wedding photos! I looked at that place and LOVED it, but Jay wanted a more traditional venue. Awesome choice!

    It is so cool in there you don't even need decorations!

    For food, I'd recommend setting up a more finger-foods type buffet on the counter they have and using the Martini Bar as the actual bar.

    I'd also make sure you have a photographer who can do well with low light and flash--many cant. Lynn Michelle photography and Joseph Mark are two that come to mind. Perez photography might be good too. All of these are on the more expensive side, but becuase of the light in that place, I would put more money towards this end of the budget.

    I'm sorry, let me clarify.

    LynnMichlle and Joseph Mark would do well in low-light--they have very good technical lighting skills

    I'm no help I just wanted to say welcome and great choice of venue!  I know my photographer, Lynn Michelle, has shot there--it's the only wedding I've ever seen there.  But it's a great choice!  Of course I highly recommend Lynn as well.

    I don't know of any Knotties that have gotten married there but maybe I'm mistaken.

    OMG

    That venue is OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD! Absolutely love it!!!! The ONLY reason we didn't choose that venue is b/c we could see 1/2 our guest standing during the ceremony! I wanted a venue were I could do both ceremony and reception!
