Bachelorette Party Planning

I am the maid of honor and of course in charge of planning the bachelorette party for my best friend in May.  We are going to Sundance Square in Fort Worth, having dinner and then bar hopping the rest of the evening.  My problem is I feel like I should plan some kind of activity or something to do while we're having dinner.  My best friend is not really into the whole "make a fool out of yourself bachelorette" just because it's her last night out.  She just wants to hang out with her friends after dinner, drink & have  good time.  Therefore I feel like I should do something during dinner to have everyone interact with each other.  I thought about a trivia game or something....I'm also going to do some kind of "special cupcakes" to have.  Any ideas or thoughts??

I certainly don't think an activity during dinner is necessary. Assume eating, chatting, drinking will be your activity. Are you all meeting beforehand? Maybe meet before dinner and have a lingerie shower before you hit the town. You can serve champange to get every one in the mood to party before you all go out.

emi- I was thinking the same thing.

In my experience, drinking negates the need for cheesy games :)  The night sounds like fun!  I love hanging out in Fort Worth.   I've been to b-parties in which everyone drank out of penis straws all night, if you want to go that route.  I've also been to some in which after dinner, the bride was on a "scavenger hunt" as we bar-hopped.  They were all right, but by no means necessary for our good time.  GL and have fun!

yeah I think it depends on your friend. I Just had my b-party and we didn't do any games or anything formal at all We just hung out and had an incredibly fun evening. But that is exactly what I like. I would go with your gut and what you know your friend would like.  All of the girls can mingle and will mingle on their own. And even if they don't get to know each other, that's ok too. As long as everyone is drinking, eating and chatting, it will be a blast.
