Hi Ladies,

I am planning my cousins bachelorette party and we thought of going to a comedy show and than out afterwards. I have never been to a comedy show in Dallas/Ft Worth area. Do you have any recommendations for a nice improv or good comedy place? I looked online and found mixed reviews. We were thinking the improv in Addison but not sure if everybody wants to pay $20 to get in and go out afterwards.

We were not originally going to have her a bach party since they are getting married at the JOP and they didn't want a party. Now she has agreed that we can have her a party but she doesn't want nothing to expensive.

Any ideas?

    Ad Libs is great and if you tell them why you are there, they likely would pull her up on stage and have her perform with them if she would enjoy that.  They pulled me up on my birthday and I was mortified but I got in free!

    4 Day weekend in FW.. I thought it was really funny. I know the tickets are horrible.

    Hyenas is by far my fav (I've gone to several). They will make her do a shot up on stage for sure and give her a "roast" if you let them know beforehand. They also have a buy one get one free coupon online. I definitely recommend them! They have 3 locations-- Arlington, Ft. Worth, and Dallas (right next to Angelika). Tickets are $5 or $10, but there is a 2 item minimum in terms of drinks/food. Not a bad deal at all!

    We go to the Dallas Comedy House all the time on Commerce -- really fun and cheap drinks!  Shows are $10-15 I think.
