B&M Monday

Running on 2 hours of sleep today.  Up most of the night finishing the group presentation that is today... finally!  Unfortunately, it took a lot longer to finish than I thought and I haven't gotten to study for my test at 9:30am and its a test I absolutely MUST pass. :(

Even better, they are supposed to have 1-2" of snow near Denton this morning, so that should make traffic extra fun.

My car is dead.  I can't take a day off to get it into a shop.

    I have a problem.

I had three interviews last week.

Job #1 is a patient care coordinator for an Ob-Gyn office. That is roughly 20 minutes from the house and an area I frequent alot. During the interview the asked me if I was married and if I had children. They also informed me they would let me know that day or the following day about the position. I just heard back today from them and they want a second interview tomorrow. They never gave me an wage amount.

Job #2 is an administrative support position for a home health care office. Same area as job #1, in fact it is right down the road. Interview went great and they offered me the postion within the hour. I said I would let them know Monday (today) if it was a yay or nay. They called me Friday and asked if I had any questions regarding the positon or concerns about the wage amount. I told them I was weighing all my options and would let them know Monday. I could start this position on a Monday

Job #3- CSR for a large insurance company that is in north dallas. I would work in a call center and have crappy hours, but since I have a degree in 6 months I could move to a different department in liability where the hours are M-F. They would also pay for my insurance license. They want a second interview tomorrow. Pay is pretty good and after 6 months, I would be doing pretty well. This job doesn't sell insurance.

I really don't know which route to go. :( I'm torn between all of them.

Courtney, I say go with the job that's going to make you happiest.  I'd want to be a salaried employee with opportunities for job growth and even educational enrichment.  If the call center job really is for just a few months and then tons of opportunities kick in, that might be the best in the long run.  If you're going to want to dig your eyes out with a spoon, maybe you should skip it.  Good luck!

This sounds like my mom's company.  Can you FB message me the name of the company?  I know they had a call center in the area and they are very supportive of their employees extending their education.

    I'm on vacation this week!

I had to go in for a couple of hours this morning for a "bad news" meeting.

Oh..and who has a game night with no games?!
