dyed flowers getting on dress..

I am having roses sprayed 2 different colors for my bouquet. When I met with the person who is making our cake, she mentioned that the color from the roses could rub off on my dress. Does anyone know this to be true? I emailed my florist and am waitng to hear back from him., but figured I would see if anyone here has heard of this happening. TIA!

    there is a difference between spray tinited and dyed  flowers......dyed flowers are the ones that will defineately stain if you get them on your dress......spray tinited not so much. when a bride wants blue roses I try and suggest that we add a naturally blue flower,if she insists they must sign a waiver saying they undersatnd the risk.
