Cheap Red and White Flowers?

I originally wanted red and white roses, but they'll be out of season for my wedding. So what are some cheaper flowers that I can use? I want real ones. And something pretty and elegant.

Roses are not out of season in October. They are also super cheap in October! You can do alstromeria, gerbera daisies, or carnations but those are really the only flowers as cheap as roses. My wedding is October 9th and we are having a variety of roses at a very good price. Don't worry...you're good!

The entire floral portion of our wedding is roses - in October.  They are pretty much always "in season."

I wouldn't say "cheap," in our area at least, but they aren't outrageous.  Carnations would be about half the price.

Roses are available year round, in many different colors.  The only time they are noticeably more expensive is around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

Roses are actually pretty affordable if you buy in bulk, as well as carnations, gerbers, and alstromerias.

I love the look of red roses and white alstromerias or white mini carnations.  the second picture isn't the colors you want, but the type of flowers look good together (gerbers, carnations, mini carnations, daisies, and small mums):

I agree Carnations that is what I am doing for my wedding. At first, I was going with roses and carnations but it looked funny and I am not a huge rose person.
