Bridal Shower/MOH had baby!

So my MOH is due 7/14, wedding is 8/14.  She wanted to throw me a shower, so we decided it would be best to throw one early.  She put it on yesterday, and everything was great!  Everyone had a great time.  Just a few girls together for some appetizers, and chatting.  We left about 5pm last night.

Well, I JUST got a text message from her that she had the baby at 2:30 this morning!  He is early, but already 7lb 2oz, so plenty big and everything went well. Mom and baby are great.

I just keep thinking, I hope all the moving around for the shower didn't make her go into labor early!  Yikes!

I have a similar situation. We are date twins, my MOH is due..Thursday!

Just curious, has your MOH gotten her dress yet, how are you doing that? Mine said she wanted to wait until a few weeks after the baby was born, so she could lose a little weight. That just makes me so nervous, because it'll be so close to the wedding!

I can't believe it is 2 months away!  I"m so excited!!!

The bridesmaids dresses I picked take about 3 months to ship after ordering.  So, she tried on dresses at 5 months pregnant, ordered it for another 4-5 sizes bigger, and then is planning on having it altered down 1-2 weeks before the wedding.  When I talked to her today, she seems happy to have an extra month to lose weight before the wedding!  Funny thing is I told her last night if the dress didn't end up fitting we'd just go buy her a black dress or something, b/c I really am not that particular.  If she doesn't match the other bridesmaids, oh well... we'll say we planned it b/c she is the MOH.

Good idea! My colors are pink and brown, my BM's are wearing watermelon colored dresses, and they can pick any style that they want. So, my MOH will just have to find a watermelon dress off the rack that fits her...and we'll go with that! I just hope we can find something, it's too late to order anything. They told me anything in that color would take at least 8 weeks, minimum.

I know, I can't believe it's 8 weeks away. Now the count down really begins!

Yup, my BM's are wearing green, with red, orange, and yellow flowers.  If there ends up being a problem with the dress she ordered fitting, I'm not picky as to what she wears.  We'll still have fun, she will still be a part of the wedding, and that is what matters!
