Mother/Son but no Father Daughter?

My father passed away when I was 9 years old, and my mom never remarried so needless to say I'm not planning a father-daughter song. I was thinking of doing one where I dance with his dad and he dances with my mom...but my fiance is really close to his mother. Would it seem awkward to have a mother-son dance but not a father daughter one?

My dad has never been there for me, and my maternal grandfather passed away when I was 13, so I've been wondering how to deal with this as well.  It's likely we'll have a mother/son dance, especially because my fiance's dad died a couple years ago.May I add my own question?  Because the most influential older male in my life is the pastor who will be presiding over the ceremony, would it be awkward to ask him to dance with my instead?
