Back Jewelry?

Okay, so when I bought my dress I tried it on with some jewelry that the bridal shop had - so I could get the 'whole bride effect'.  They recommended "back jewelry".  I thought it was kind of weird - but my FMIL and FSIL really like it.

My question is - what do you think about it?  Have I just been out of the loop on jewelry?  Would you wear this type of necklace?

I think it depends on the dress.  I wouldn't personally wear it because I think it would bother me to feel it on my back all day! :-p  I have actually never seen that before.

I definitely don't hate it, but I'm just not into it for a wedding dress.

I agree with Cheryl.  I think it's cute for like a party or something but not a wedding...

Honestly, I am not digging it.

I think those necklaces are beautiful, but I think it depends on what your dress looks like. If you have a slinky, form fitting dress with a low back, it's great. If you have a ball gown or A-line, I don't think it quite fits. I've seen them on Lynn Michelle's blog and I like them a lot, but I would never wear one. I don't want to draw any attention to my back fat ;)

My dress is A-line - I tried to PIP, but the knot wouldn't let me add another picture.  Weird.  Okay, now I don't feel so out of the loop.  So, I definitely won't be going that route.  Thank you ladies for your input, I really appreciate it!

I think that those bridal shops try to get you to buy whatever they can....   :)  They're VERY good at convincing you that you need something when you really don't!  haha  Very similar to car salesmen.

I think that it would be pretty with a low v-back dress but that's about it.

    Something similar to these:
