New to the Board - Opinions needed

I am so excited to be getting married that I want to scream it from the top of my lungs and so happy I found this board.  I am getting married 11-11-11 of next year and fiance and I are touring venues this weekend.  

We are both really into wine and are looking at Delaney Vineyards but would love some other recommendations. 

I am also thinking of booking this photographer. http://www.iamvictorrosas.com/

He came recommended by a friend and is really cheap right now. He interned and assisted Perez Photography from what she said. Thoughts?

There was a Knottie named Kristin who got married at Delaney and also used Perez as her photographer.  Her bio with reviews is here:

That photog has another of our famous Knotties, Donnaaries (Donna and Mike) on his site.  If he was indeed that shooter, he's pretty good.

Thank you, I emailed him and asked him about those Knotty pictures and he said yeah that he was assisting Perez Photography that day and also shot some pictures as well. He quoted me $1200 for 8 hours. Reasonable?
