best jeweler for groom's ring

Where did you go to get your rings?  I looked at the sticky for vendor info, but I was wondering if anyone could give me feedback.   what was the experience like?  I've been to a few in the area, but I cannot stand pushy salespeople.  I'm not looking for anything really fancy, just a simple band.  Thanks for any help!

    I went to Kay Jewelers... I think some people had bad experiences there, but I went to the one in Plano.  The lady was very nice and had good suggestions for us, but then would walk away and look busy while we discussed everything.  She didn't hover, which I appreciated, because I don't like pushy salespeople either.

    I did, but I would like other's opinions.  I have gotten quite a lot of information from that list, but sometimes it helps to hear other people's experiences, not just their list, ya know.

    Avoid Zales. They've always been super pushy in my experience. We got Steven's at Helzberg, but we also went super simple with a plain white gold band.
