HELP! Can't agree on First Dance Song! 10 Days Left!

Looking for some help here; my fiancee wants INXS-Never Tear us Apart as our first dance song, and well, i'm not really a huge fan of the choice, given the whole deal with the way he died and all.

I gave her a list of my ten choices and she is still is dead set on INXS.   Here are my ten:

1 Finally Forever by Chris Cornell
#2 Take Your Time by Al Green and Corinne Bailey Rae
#3 Just Breathe by Pearl Jam
#4 All I Need by Al Green
#5 No One’s Gonna Love You by Band of Horses
#6 All I Want is You by U2
#7 You Are The Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne or Shelter by Ray LaMontagne
#8 Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley
#9 Angel by Jack Johnson
#10 Wanna Grow Old with You by Adam Sandler

Any ideas on what we should do?  I don't want INXS ...uggh!

your song choices are all over!  from your list, i like the u2 and jack johnson choices the best.

question, do you not like the INXS song?  do you not like it because of how the guy died (which i have no idea about and most of your guests won't either)?  or both?

i think no one's gonna love you by band of horses is the best choice it's such a beautiful song

Either #1 or #10, depending on whether you want to be a bit more traditional or kinda goofy. I love them both!!!

Um, I don't even know how the guy died. How many of your guests will?

Choose another song if you don't like the song itself, but if you like the song and that's your only hang up, then I would still use it.

I have friends who used the INXS song probably 20 years ago.  People are STILL talking about how cool that song was. 

Yeah, Michael Hutchens died tragically, but like most people have said they don't know how he died.  I don't think people will be thinking about that.
