Trying to find songs for Step-Father/Daughter Dance... Help!

My parents divorced when I was 9 and my mom remarried when I was 11. I have had 2 dads for over half my life! I don't want to take away from how special this day is from my real dad, but I couldn't possibly leave out my step-dad. I am close to each of them which has been painful for my dad and of course my step-dad feels like I have always been his. I have a great Father/Daughter song for me and my real dad that we both chose before we discussed it with eachother, but am having trouble finding a song for my step-dad and I to dance to that wont be too mushy, meaningless to him, or painful for my dad (something like "I hope I'm at least half the dad he didn't have to be" or "i loved her first"). I've already asked him to find a song and he came up with "Can you feel the love tonight" from the lion king... definitely not playing that! Any suggestions?

Do you have to make dancing w/stepdad a special event? You could just ask him to dance during a slow song, and thank him for always being there for you while you're dancing. Just a thought.

What about "I Will" by The Beatles?

I'm a huge fan of Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.  I know it's probably over played at weddings, but it's been one of my favorite songs for as long as I can remember.

For my step father/ daughter dance I chose to use My Wish by Rascal Flatts. My father passed away a few years ago and although my step father has been there for me for years and as much as he can and I love him very much I think that this song was perfect. Just enough but yet wont replace my father .... If you understand.

    Good Luck!
