Recessional song question

My fiance and I are really big Ohio State fans. Our wedding is going to be fairly non-traditional but do you think it's cheesy to use the Buckeye Fight Song as our recessional song? It's upbeat and seems to fit the mood to me.. especially since our wedding is January 8th and the national championship game is January 10th which hopefully OSU will be in :):):)

Here is a link to the song if you want to listen.. we would probably start after the drum intro.

Question:  Are you getting married in a church?  If so they might have an issue with it.  Otherwise go for it.

BTW:  HAIL TO PITT...................sorry, had to do it.  Laughing

I agree with pp about getting married in a church. But I say go for the OSU fight song. H and I are both from Columbus and I graduated from OSU.

Are you planning to use a recorded version?  Or have an "interpretation" done by a few live musicians at your ceremony?

I like it, it's very peppy, though as others have mentioned, it might not be acceptable in a church.  If you're not having it in a church, I'd totally go for it - it speaks to you, and it's something that you really like... and since it's YOUR wedding, and it's something you like, you should do it!

Thanks everyone! It's not in a church and my reception DJ is doing the ceremony too so it will be pre-recorded. I appreciate your input!
