CHRISTIAN WEDDING MUSIC

I have a good friend of mine singing at the ceremony at our wedding. Since most of the music is secular, I would like her to sing a song that symbolizes God in our relationship. When I goggle this, I can only find old Christian contemporary or gospel music and am looking for something a little more modern.  Any suggestions?

    Try on the Christian cultural board. I would suggest looking at song lists from a contemporary worship service (I'm sure you can find one online). I would suggest one, but I never remember titles or artists. All I can tell you is that I know Chris Tomlin is pretty much the go-to for contemporary worship songs.

    I was looking for the same thing...go to ceremony and narrow search with christian music,  lots of suggestions about this topic there. good luck

    Check out Michael W. Smith.  Also Stephen Curtis Chapman.

    Steven Curtis Chapman has an entire album called "All About Love," with original and cover songs. My personal favorite is "I Will Be Here."

    We went to a wedding where they sang the Celine Dion and Josh Groban Christmas song titled The Prayer.  It was beautiful.  You can youtube it to hear it, but these are the lyrics: 

    I pray You’ll be our eyes,
    and watch us where we go,

    I love "Love is Not a Fight" by Warren Barfield. It was in the movie Fireproof and it's a really beautiful song.

    there's a song that I love called "Something Beautiful" I think it's by newsboys (maybe newsong - I always get them confused!) It's about love and marriage.  Matthew West also has a new song out about love. Not sure what it's called though. I heard it a few weeks ago on the radio.
