Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music Discussions

Wedding songs for a Catholic Wedding

I will be getting married in a very traditional Catholic Cathedral and they are very particular about the music. The songs sang cannot just be about love but about God's love, or God's presence in your relationship. My brother will be singing, he will definitely be singing The Prayer during the ceremony, but I was trying to come up with a song or two for him to sing while guests are being seated and up until I walk down the isle. The precessional and recessional will strictly be music from the paino/violinist. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!

You might want to try posting this on the Catholic board. I am Catholic, however, besides the main songs needed for the ceremony, I don't know of any good "filler" songs off of the top of my head.

check with your church's music director.  He/she will have plenty of good suggestions for you.  I'm a church musician, and have a complete file of music to go over with couples looking for guidance.

And just for future reference, the space between the pews is an aisle as opposed to a land mass surrounded by water (an isle).  =)
