opinions on my walk

so im using the song "Bubbly" by colby colett for my walk down the isle. because it explains how i really feel but alot of people are bashing on it saying its a dumb idea and to just stick to the regular song and a few have made me cry by how rude they have been about my choices.

how many people actually used the traditional song?

What traditional song?  There are many traditional wedding marches.  I've never heard that song.  I'm sorry someone made you cry, but seriously, if it's a song you want to use, then use it.

I'm not using a traditional wedding march, I'm using an updated version of one - Pachebel Meets U2 by Jon Schmidt.

Good luck with your wedding march choice.

I'm not walking down the aisle to the wedding march either. I'm walking down to "I Do" by Mark Wills, words and all! So if you want to walk down the aisle to a different song go for it! It's your day and everyone else can just keep their opinions to themselves! It's incredibly rude of them to try to tell you how to do things on your day. Just make sure the pastor marrying you doesn't mind.

Go with what is in your heart!  The only ones who have to like it are you and your FI (although it is nice not to use something that people would find offensive!)  My DD and son-in-law used "Intro to Pepperland" from the Yellow Submarine for the BP entrance, Israel Kamakawiwo`ole's version of "Somewhwere Over the Rainbow" for the bride's walk, and they exited to "You and Me" by Tom Petty...none of which were 'traditional', and all of which suited the couple perfectly.  I'm sorry people have made you cry, that's very unkind...some people are just rude-ignore their comments, trust yourself to make the right choices, and have the wedding-and wedding music-that makes you smile!  If the wedding reflects who you and your FI are, then it will be beautiful!

Traditional is out...I'm walking down the aisle to "Rebel Heart" by the Corrs.  The day is about you & your fiance, do what's important to you everyone else will get over it.

I so agree with everyone here...traditional?  Nothing wrong with traditional unless your someone like me.   I'm walking down to Tighter and Tighter which no one understands but me and FI.  It's OUR wedding and its YOUR wedding do as you please and what makes you happy.

The first thing I told FI when we began discussing the wedding was that I am not walking down the aisle to "Hear Comes the Bride." I actually considered "Bubbly" too, but it doesn't quite go with the theme/feel of my wedding. Plus, FI hates it! So I'm gonna go with the Vitamin String Quartet version of "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls. It's beautiful. If you're stuck for non-traditional songs, I'd check them out.

Well were going traditional in...and out were exiting to "another one bites the dust" by Queen..lol, that was my choice, and FI loves it...thinking about him wearing a ball and chain that my girls have hidden during the ceremony...lol.
