Too slow and sad?

So I really love this song 'The Swan' but my MOH says it's too slow and sad for a bridal procession. I want something classical, and if I don't do 'The Swan' I'll probably do something more upbeat and traditional like 'Trumpets and Horns' or 'Trumpet Voluntary.' Opinions?

    We used Patrick Cassidy's Vide Cor Meum, which is definitely not upbeat.   It worked beautifully.  We did use a fun song for the recessional.

    I know two people who have walked in to "The Swan."  But here are some alternatives that fit into that same genre:

    * Bach - Concerto for Two Violins: Largo
    * Bach-Gounod - Ave Maria (this is different from the one that most people know, and far prettier, in my opinion)
    * John Barry - Somewhere in Time (from movie "Somewhere in Time")
    * Debussy - Clair de Lune
    * Handel - Largo from Xerxes
    * Puccini - O mio babbino caro

    You can hear samples of all of the above here:
