I am looking for a great, funky funk/soul band - nothing too cheasy or manufactured. I would prefer an authentic funk band that plays gigs, rather than a professional wedding band. Playlist includes James Brown, The Commodores, Earth, Wind and Fire, and Sam&Dave. We're in the New York/Connecticut area. Any suggestions?
