Or you could always ask him what he would like to dance with you to. That is what I did with my Dad, he already had a song in mind. Easy peasy.

At my first wedding several years ago my Dad and I danced to 'Butterfly Kisses'.  It was VERY fitting for us.

I picked I loved her first by heartland when dad heard the song he cried. and decided i couldnt get married. haha.  another one is stealing cinderella but it is more of a groom understanding a fathers love.

My Dad and I are dancing to "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon. We both love Simon & Garfunkel, it's upbeat and the words are heartfelt. It makes me cry every time I hear it! I work at a dance studio, and I can tell you the most used Father/Daughter dance songs are "I Loved Her First" and "Butterfly Kisses".
