Magnet Street Warning!

Just FYI for all of you looking to order magnets for any part of your wedding set... I tried to order save the dates (I designed my own and uploaded the graphic) from magnet street. I had a TWO WEEK delay of errors, communication issues, and bad customer service before I threw in the towel today! I never even received a proof.

I finally decided to cancel my order since I was set back enough and ordered larger, less expensive magnets from Vistaprint. I got an instant proof, had no graphic problems, and am paying $100 less for 75 more magnets, and in a larger size to boot!

I know not all experiences with magnet street have been bad and they are probably better when you don't have a custom design.... I just don't want any of you to have to suffer the two week setback and frustration I just endured! So be careful!

Sorry to hear that - we had a great experience with magnet street, but we did not use a custom design.

Awww I am so sorry that happened!  We used Magnet Street for our save the dates and didn't have any problems.  It sucks when they drop the ball though!  At least you ended up getting them cheaper and more of them! :-)

I'm sorry to hear that too!  I used them with a custom design and it went great.  Stupid me, I put 2009 instead of 2010 and thank goodness they caught it.  They were very friendly and helpful with us.  At least you got a better deal in the end!

My magnets from VistaPrint did not turn out at all, the color was incredibly distorted, I had hot pink highlights added in my hair and a hot pink outline around my face (definitely not in the file I uploaded, I had a photo printed locally before I printed at VistaPrint and it looked perfect) so be sure to order a test batch first before ordering a whole bunch!
I ended up having to get a refund from VistaPrint and now I'm skipping save the dates altogether.
