free location help!!!

we are going to do a quick ceremony, just a judge and a few friends. any ideas on a location in Fort Worth that would make a good backdrop for our spur of the moment wedding?

Fort Worth Botanical Gardens (not the Japanese Gardens portion) has lots of places for standing room only ceremonies.

But I don't think the Botanical Gardens is going to be free.

ahh sorry good point Julie.  The botanical gardens is $300 for a 2 hour rental, which is perfect for a quick cremony.  I don't know of any places that will let you do it for absolutely no cost... maybe look into other city parks, but I believe any public space still requires a small fee.

I don't think I would take a gamble on just showing up at a park and getting married.  Mowers and blowers.  You don't know the schedule that they come to mow and you never know if it's going to be changed due to weather conditions.
