Bridal Portrait Suggestion Shots????

I will be doing my bridal portraits on the 19th! And although I completely trust my photographer, I really want some good pictures. and I have NO idea what kind of poses that will make for good pictures, I don't like being forced into standing still like we did for our yearbook pictures... I need help!!!

Re: Bridal Portrait Suggestion Shots????

  • Hello,

If you trust your photographer and have seen his/her work and like it: Don't Worry! No one on a forum is going to give you ideas a photographer hasn't thought of yet. Hiring a photographer is like hiring a home designer, you don't tell them what to do cause if you did, what did you hire them for?
  • I agree with the post above. If you are concerned about what to expect email your photographer and ask if he/she has some tips on how to prepare for the session.

Good photographers will know how to pose their subjects in a way that is current (not too prom picturesque) and flattering for their figure. They will also most likly be able to send you something on what to bring to your session, a timeframe for how long the session will last and other important information.

Pinterest is also a great site to look for inspiration.

Best Wishes and good luck at your session.
    Brooke
