To tip or not to tip....

My fiance and I are going to be having our photos done this weekend. We settled on a price with the photographer, but I need to know if I should tip her. Is it customerary to tip and give more if you are really happy or only tip if she goes above and beyond or is it not really expected at all and buy more photos.....???? Please help!!!

    If the photorapher is the owner of the company, you do not have to tip.

    Generally speaking, tipping the photographer is not customary. Of course, if they do an amazing job, a little tip or a thank you card (or something) goes a long way. As photographers, we work more closely with you than any other vendor, so it's really nice to know when you're appreciated.
