Flowergirl Dresses

FSIL and I are going shopping this weekend (finally!!) for her daughter's flowergirl dress. We are hoping to find something off the rack since it's too late to order. Any ideas of where to go other than Davids Bridal? Location isn't a factor. If we can't find something, looks like I'll be sewing a dress in the next couple weeks (grr)

You could always try department stores, Ross, Marshalls, Burlington Coat Factory, etc.

Yep, I second the department stores.

I don't think it's too late to order a dress, either. Depends on where you go.

I ordered my FG dress about 2 weeks ago and it will be here in time for my wedding(which at the time, was 6 weeks away). May be cutting it too close for some people, but it will be here the first week of August. Went to a place called Bridal Designs in Southlake. I don't recommend it though. The prices were high, and their off the rack selection was limited.

Depending upon the age of your flowergirl and the style of dress you are looking for you might be able to find a First Communion dress at some of the Quinceanera/Bridal stores. Many of the dresses there look just like the flower girl dresses sold at other big name bridal stores.

I found a great deal on one at Terri Costa.

Also, you may want to check A Bridal Closet in Willow Bend Mall. They had some cute ones off the rack

I know JC Penney's had some good ones for about $50 as well.
