We got engaged on the same night, in very similar ways! We were snowed in too! We had gone to his dad's annual Christmas Eve party but everyone left early when the "blizzard" came in. So we went home and were stuck there the rest of the night, thats when he popped the question. :)

No not at all...I could sleep through just about anything LOL.  I woke up late for work (as usual) and I was rushing around grabbing a towel to get in the shower and I looked down and there was a very sparkly ring on my finger.  All I could say was "Honey??" and he was right there behind me.

Chelsea, they make me tear up everytime too. I know my face looks terrible in the second picture, but I was just so shocked, happy, and cold. He proposed on February 28th, up on the top floor of the restaurant. The wind was blowing up there and it was blistering cold, but I couldn't ask for a better proposal. Brad had asked me once how I'd like to get engaged (guess he needed ideas??). I told him what I really wanted was for my family to be there and for someone to take pictures. He made both those things happen!
