Going rate for a photo booth??

I have received a quote from a photographer that he would give us the use of his photo booth for $250....is this reasonable? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Going rate for a photo booth??

  • That sounds pretty cheap actually. How many hours is this for and is it a true vintage style photobooth, or a mock photobooth (normal camera on a tripod and a backdrop)?
  • I am looking for a photo booth too....It all depends on what you're looking to be included in the price.  Some places give your guests unlimited amounts of pictures, include attendants, offer a scrap book and also offer a cd with all images or an online gallery.  It also depends if you want  props.  I just found a company that called photoboothevents.net and they seemed extremely reasonable for everything that they offer.  They are also taking off 50% right now off all packages and will take additional money off if you refer someone.
  • that is a really good deal! of course if you want the extras that is a big thing. Around the Philly area.. they run about 1000.  Most of them include the scrap books and pictures for everyone in the booth. Some also do on line posting of the pictures. DO your research......
  • Check out my photographer, Splash Of Life Portraits...they also do photo booths or photo op areas starting at like $300.
