The Album is really important

So I really want to get the perfect album after the wedding. I'm trying to figure out how many pages I should get (30, 50, 60, etc) and what size (12x12, 11x14, etc)

Now I think I finally found my photographer, http://mollanphotography.com/ and he is offering me unlimited time & locations, print rights, high res dvd, & engagment session with a 12x12 60 page custom designed photowrap album with leather cover for $4132 includingn taxes.

Is this a good deal?

Thanks ladies for your help!

Re: The Album is really important

  • That sound like a great deal. Make sure you see samples of the album they are offering when you meet though. Make sure its what you want and not a photobook instead. But really sounds like a great value.
  • That all depends on the photographer. Some photographers like to use the whole page for 1 image and some 2-3. If you are having bouquet/ Garter toss. Money dance, couples dance etc My guess is you won't need anything more than 40 sides/pagest. You may want to look at the previous albums he/she has designed to get a better idea. 4K is a lot. Is it an italian album? are you getting any upgrades? like mettalic pages? gilding on pages? If so ask how much discount they can give if you don't want it.
  • That depends on your location and the quality of the album. In my area, that would be a reasonable price if it includes a top quality album and a second photographer along with everything you mentioned.
