I'd vote for Grise.  Their photos seem the most natural and vibrant, and I think their retouching work was also the best.  Second place goes to Anya Albonetti, but a lot of her work felt a little too staged for my taste.

I compared all three wedding portfolios.  Grise Photography is my favorite of the three.  Her pictures have the best balance of deliberate/crafted portraits and captured candids, which I prefer to capture the entire wedding day.

If you're looking for really polished, refined-looking portraits and don't really prefer candids as much, I think the first one (Anya A) fits the bill.  The third photographer (Lisa Walker) also seems to focus more on portraits, but she seems to have more of an edgy quality compared to Anya A.

P.S. I absolutely love the Grise shot of the couple laying on the grass, with their heads on each other's shoulders, ying and yang style.  Love it, love it, love it!

P.P.S. Since my preference has already been stated, I can't help but say that Jenny Grise's blog has even more awesome photos.  A few pages in, there are pictures of a couple that got married on Fiji and took TTD pictures the day after.....all I am able to say at the moment, about all of those photos, is WOW.

Wow you actually have a great dilemma to have to make a choice for any one of those three great photogs!

I have to agree with Jess. I think regardless of a wedding's style or venue Grise seems like she can capture it beautifully with a good mix of tradition and photojournalism. I also love Anya's photography but she seems to have a lot of photos in her portfolio that are "modelesque" with the backgrounds and subject looking overly posed/perfect. Lisa would also be a very safe bet for a more traditional approach with some very cute flair photos along the way!

Best of luck with your decision, your photos will be amazing!

I also like Grise Photography. Although, Anya was a close second.

It really depends on the "style" you are going for. If it was me, I would choose Grise Photography.

I don't know if you have made your decision yet or not, but if not I'd like to add my two cents. I have known Jenny of Grise photography for 15 years and being a professional photographer myself, I would trust her to shoot my wedding. She has a great eye for unique shots and is very professional, without seeming too stiff. Take the time to meet with her and you won't regret it.

If you like photos by both photographers go with the one that makes you feel more relaxed!  You will send a whole day with them so you don't want someone who makes you feel uncomfortable.
