We got ours back today--but do I need to go get copies before I go to the SS office, get my driver's license changed, and update my passport?
Basically, do these offices keep a copy or just need to see it? I learned with my passport that I don't want them to have my original of any important doc. (they lost my birth certificate a few years back)
