Hair Poll (NWR)

So I've wanted to change my hair for a while because I feel like I've had the same style since high school.  I'm just not sure what would look good on me.  I'm including 2 pictures below, so take a look and let me know which one you like best.  I am also putting in a picture of what my hair looks like now, although my hair is about 3 inches longer now.  Sorry for the blurry pictures, I took them from my iPhone!  :)

I personally really like both haircuts, I'm just not sure how the Reese haircut would look on me since our hair is so different.  Mine is really thick, coarse, and curly (but I get it chemically straightened).  The girl in the other picture looks like she has a similar texture to mine, which is why I'm slightly leaning towards that one.  TIA!

I think, seeing your picture that you could definitely pull off Reese's cut.  I LOVE that haircut on her and think it would be flattering on just about anyone.

I agree - I love Reese's hair.  I really think you could pull it off.  Have you had bangs before?

I like both of them.  But I like A for me--I've been thinking of cutting my bangs so I may use that one!  :)

Serlace, I probably haven't had bangs in about 20 years (that makes me feel old saying that).  I know there will be a little more upkeep with this style than what I have now, especially if I go with the Reese look.  I guess I'm just wondering if I should wear the bangs over my forehead, or just brush them to the side completely?

The times I've ever tried to do bangs like that, they ALWAYS end up getting pushed to the side anyway  :)  You could try it where they're in front and if it doesn't work push them to the side since they're already long bangs to begin with.

I've had bangs for about six months now.

Sorry - my e-pics are the only pics I have with me having bangs that I can post right now.  I really like them.  I kind of go through phases.  I have them short-ish where they are actual bangs.  Then I'll grow them out a bit and sweep them to the side.  Then I'll cut them again, etc.  I cut them myself - my hairdresser showed me how - so I don't have to go in to get them trimmed.  I'll tell you how if you decide to get bangs.  Also, I wash my hair every other day, but my bangs every day.  I really like them - I feel like they make my hair not seem so blah.  HTH.

I think the second style is really close to you hair now. If you are looking for a change, it may not be enough. I think the Reese cut would look really cute on you. If you're concerned about how it would look with your hair type, just talk to your stylist before you do it.

Serlace, I really like the look of your bangs in the 1st picture.  I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to have them that short though!  My hair does weird things when it gets that short.  :)

Thanks everyone, I think I am going with the first look.  I agree with you, Buttercup, I think if I got the 2nd haircut I would think to myself that it wasn't really a big enough change.  I feel like I need to do something more drastic than #2.  :)
