Pre-wedding Parties

    I don't think that is a good idea, because then they feel left out when it comes to the big day. They might feel used, like you only want them for gifts and not to actually be at your wedding. Be prepared for hurt feelings if you decide to do that.

    People invited to pre-wedding parties must be invited to the wedding.  The one and only exception to this is a work shower.

    The point of a bridal shower is to 'shower' the bride with gifts.  Inviting someone to your shower and not your wedding is essentially telling them "You're not important enough to come to my wedding but you can still give me presents"
