I am getting married in October and my MOH and Bridesmaids are going to throw my a shower probably sometime in August. I have a family friend who offered (in early March) to throw me a shower, and I thought it would be nice to say yes, so I did. Shortly after she informed me that it needed to be in may, june, or in the beginning of July. Since then I have not heard anything from her, but i know that she is still thinking it is on. I am in the process of moving to a different state and I am feeling too overwhelmed to even try to have a shower in the next month. How do I let her know that it is not going to work? or is that rude??
