Vendor Reviews of my wedding

Wow wow wow. I can't believe it happened 2 weeks ago! Our wedding was a blend of our Russian, Jewish, Israeli cultures.
It was wonderful and couldn't have done it without these people:

Ceremony Location: Orthodox synagogue-- A++. it was amazing! The rabbi is wonderful and the location is modern and beautiful. Churchill and Forest area

Ceremony Music: Seranata Strings-- A-. I think they were really good and easy to work with. My coordinator might have not cued them well for the groomsmen walk, but who cares!

Reception: Gourmet Room in Richardson-- A. This place is only available if reserved and Luda does an amazing job in preparing Russian food and lots of it!

Reception Music: Mishasstudio.com --B+-- He's a good MC but i felt like the music he played could have been better. He plays european, american and russian songs mostly.

Flowers: Larisa -- A+. She did wonderful arangements of peacock, horsetails, calla lillies, hydrangeas

Cake-- A&J Bakery-- A. The desserts were wonderful but make sure that your design for the cake is simple- nothing complicated.

Hair-- Melissa Lyons from Salon de Safi on Preston and Frankford, near Banana Leaf. --A. Initial trial wasn't great, 2nd trial was awesome and the actual wedding day was wonderful. Hair stayed in place from 10am until 1am when the wedding ended. $100

Make-up: Susie Gray-- A++.- She did a marvelous job- I looked like myself but prettier. I loved the eyelash extensions and I think that every bride needs them. Uses Bobbie Brown makeup. $175, free trial

Photography: Roe & White --B++. The wife is great but he sometimes isn't so nice. The engagement shots were good, but I haven't seen the wedding pictures yet because they're not up.

Videography: U on DVD. Alex Talis was easy to work with and he has great video equipement. My friends have used him before and he has a somewhat dirty mind so I told him to keep it PG. The highlights look great!

Chairs, Pipe and Drape: Celebration Event Rental -- A+. I was set on having chiavari chairs and I got them. Paid a pretty penny for it but it was worth it! The restaurant is drab without it.

Linens: The perfect Touch in Houston -- A. No fuss. I rented them last moment and was able to drive them from Houston (where we live) on Tues and return them the following Tuesday.

Jewerly: Off 5th --A.
Real Jewerly: Jonathan's in Houston (A+) and Zales (A)

Nails: Alpha Nails -- A.

Overall, I was most impresed with our synagogue (and Rabbi), the flowers, the make-up and the chairs. Everything else were just the details.
