Hello Texas Brides!! I am new to this board, and I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I have been planning a Las Vegas wedding for the past few months. We had to cancel our Vegas wedding bc my FI's grandmother got sick and they dont think she would be well enough to fly to Vegas. It was not an option to get married without her there for both of us. So.... Now I am here, and trying to plan a Texas wedding on a SERIOUS budget in a short amount of time(we have moved our date up to late sept). I live in the Denton area, and I am in desperate need of good vendor reviews! Any input or advice you can give is appreciated! I have found a ceremony/reception venue that I like and can afford. I am thinking about renting out a large lake house for the weekend. I am having a smallish wedding of around 150 guests. I want it to be very intimate and casual. My biggest concern is getting a good photographer that I can afford. My photography budget is $1000 or less, so I have a feeling this will be a difficult task!!
