OK - I know that I am not even close to having my wedding, but I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to my venue and the event coordinator there...
Amy with Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club in Keller is AWESOME! They just completed their dedicate wedding area and it's so awesome! It's an amphitheathre feel, with steps and a horseshoe around the "alter". I went to visit yesterday and started worrying about whether or not I should hire someone to set up because it just seemed like there was so much do. Amy let me know that weddings are her passion and that she would do EVERYTHING she can to make sure the day went exactly as planned... she wants to do mock table set up, let me look through all of the extra wedding decorations she has... she even offered to set up a champagne and snack table for the bridesmaids and me while we're getting ready (its included in the cost)!
I am a bride on a budget (we're paying for the wedding all on our own), and Amy just makes me feel like I'm having a truly expensive, extravagent affair! So far, I can't say enough good things!!
