I've gone to a few bachelorette parties at Pete's dueling piano bar downtown...drinks are pricey there but it can be a lot of fun! Also Four Day Weekend seems to be a popular thing, thats an improv comedy show they do downtown on Friday and Saturday nights. Anytime I've been there I've seen bachelorette parties in the audience.

As far as hotels I don't know what I'd recommend, there are several nice hotels downtown in the sundance square area (where all the shops and restaurants and so forth are), if thats where you plan to hang out, or you can probably find someplace less expensive away from there and take a hotel shuttle to downtown if money is an issue. I guess where you want to stay would depend on what you end up planning to do too!

You could always hang out in the stockyards area, theres plenty of bars and restaurants up there as well, its a fun area to hang out in if you like the cowboy thing.

Dinner: if you like Mexican, Joe T Garcia's or any place on West 7th.

Entertainment: Four Day Weekend is AWESOME! FI is from Fort Worth and did this for his brother's bachelor party. Everyone had a blast.
    Pete's dueling Piano Bar
    Billy Bob's
Bar hopping downtown: Library Bar, etc.

Stay: Omni (if you want super nice), Sheraton, Mariott Courtyard.

Sundance Square has several bars, restaurants, and hotels.  Mi Cocina is a good choice.  Reatta is as well.

There's a nice Mariott on West 7th that's within walking distance of a ton of bars/restaurants as well.  Barcadia and Love Shack are in their parking lot pretty much.

Ooh I just googled and it's a Mariott Residence Inn. That may be a good/cheaper alternative to staying downtown.

I agree with all of PP's ideas though.

    Bars/entertainment:
I love Pete's, even though it does get crowded/expensive...just get there early!
If you wanted something a little less chill than the usual bar scene then there's also Lucky Strike on 7th for bowling or the Gingerman bar off of Camp Bowie.
M Lounge aka Martini Lounge on 7th = cool vibe, good music (well, the one time I was there it was.)
Magnolia Motor Lounge on 7th = usually has a fun band

    Food:
Cantina Laredo - They're good at accomodating large parties for dinner.
    Chuy's or Chimmy's off of 7th = yum.
I know those are all Mexican food places but I don't think you can go wrong with margaritas at a bachelorette party.

My MOH is planning my bachelorette party @ The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine.  We are getting a suite for everyone to stay the night & then the shuttle is taking us to Glass Cactus where we have a VIP section.  Its all in one place and no driving involved!  But it costs like $50-60 a person but includes alcohol, food & somewhere to sleep.

Cantina Laredo can be ok, but IMO it's overpriced for food that's just so-so and if you're doing this on a friday or saturday night it's always PACKED beyond belief (the same will be true of most of the others mentioned here, like Joe Ts-so definitely make advanced reservations if you go to one of those!!)

And like PPs have said, West 7th street is a lot of fun for bar hopping-You can start more low key if you want at Times 10 cellar-they have good wines and you can order pizza in if you want (but if you plan to order the pizza again you may want to place the order ahead of time, one night we tried to order one and they said it would take 2 hours), and you can head to different bars from there.

I'M CURIOUS WHERE I CAN FIND MORE INFORMATION ON THIS DEAL AT THE GAYLORD. I LIVE IN GRAPEVINE AND WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE PARTY CLOSE BY INSTEAD OF IN FT WORTH.

I organized a friends Bach party in Ft. Worth, we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Worth/Fossil Creek, which was about a $10 cab ride to Joe T Garcia's where we had dinner. We got there a little early as they only accept reservations for groups of 20+. Then we walked to the Stock yards, grabbed a few drinks there and then went to Billy Bobs, I bought the tickets in advance and saved a little $ because of the size of our group. We had a great time!
