Finally Found a venue! Yippie!!!

Well after stressing about a venue that was budget friendly and nice, I finally ran across The Tribute Golf Club. I got all of the information today, and I am going to schedule an appointment for after Christmas to go view it. I'm so excited because I literally have been trying to find something since September. I've been trying to find reviews but I haven't ran across any yet......Any feedback would be great!

    I believe one of our regular Knotties Lauren (LLC) will be using them next Spring. Hopefully she'll see this tomorrow & give you some info!

    And then i will be using it at the end of the summer! :)

    So far my experience with them has been okay...nothing bad. Just some things i've noticed that have gotten to me, like i've tried calling Paula, the lovely lady i assume you're speaking with; doesnt ever answer the phone. Of the 6 days that i stalker called her, she answered once. And she was christmas shopping on her computer when she answered, so she was super distracted.

    Her emails are extremely short, in a kind of unprofessional way. Basically, if you dont ask her a direct question, you will not get an answer. She's very nice, and when we went and looked at the venue she was eager to show us EVERYTHING. We had the suprise of showing up right before a christmas party, which was GREAT because we got to see what everything looked like set up. Overall it's been a nice experience, like i said...petty things are all i have to complain about. And as a budget bride myself, i'm stoked about it :)

    Congrats!  We are using the Tribute in April.

    Ashlee - I actually have not worked with Paula.  I've only worked with Bethany and she is always quick to respond to all of my emails/calls.  I will admit that working with Erin (the coordinator in charge when we booked back in 2009)  was wonderful and I was really sad that she left.  

    Also for both of you, the Tribute does bridal open houses every February and August (at least they have every Feb and Aug since we booked in June of '09) and I would highly recommend going to one of them.  They have some of their recommended vendors there, you have the chance to see the room set up for a wedding and see different options of table linens and centerpieces (what is free and what you can upgrade to).  Bonus you get to try their food, apps, and other options like their candy bar & champagne bar.  Definitely get on their mailing list for that!
